Across Canada, access to specialized pediatric care is limited, with only a small number of children’s hospitals serving families nationwide. As a result, many parents must travel far from home when their child needs urgent or ongoing medical treatment. During an already overwhelming time, families are often separated from their support systems, work, and daily routines. Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon helps ease this burden by offering a welcoming place where families can stay together, just steps away from the hospital, so they can focus on what matters most—supporting their child.
